Founded in 2007 by professional violinist Erik Ring, industrial designer Erik Espmark and acoustic engineer Ingvar Öhman, Guru Audio has benefited from this unique combination of skills, and has become recognised as one of the leading Scandinavian audio companies. Beyond delivering a world class musical experience, Guru Loudspeakers are truly different, fusing clever engineering, stylish design and pure musicality.

At the core of Guru Audio are three complementary areas of expertise. Erik Ring’s background as a professional musician brings a deep understanding of how real instruments sound and behave in space, shaping a sound philosophy focused on natural tonal balance, timing, dynamics and emotional realism.
      Erik Espmark, educated at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design, contributes a distinctly Scandinavian design perspective, where loudspeakers are conceived not only as technical instruments, but also as furniture and objects designed to belong naturally within the home.
      Completing the trio is Ingvar Öhman, whose work alongside Stig Carlsson established a strong foundation in acoustic engineering and real-room loudspeaker design. Building on these ideas, Guru Audio continues to refine and further develop the Scandinavian tradition of natural music reproduction for modern living environments.
